Martin Eversfield

With great sadness I must announce the death of Martin Eversfield. Martin joined the RAF on 22^nd May 1959, passed out on 17^th April 1962 and died on the 60^th anniversary of that day in 2021. He had always wanted to join the RAF and remained in service for a full career becoming a Warrant Officer. In his later years he was plagued with ill health and had to have regular dialysis. When his death was announced, tributes poured in. Here are just a few.

I shall be raising a glass in his memory, great bloke, good sense of humour and a good mate.

Sad news. I will always remember Martin as the "big guy" of the entry.

Martin was a very likeable man, he will be missed, but suffers no more.

Really saddened to hear of Martin’s passing, he was a gentle giant and really nice guy.

I will always remember Martin, as a friend and colleague, who must be one of the few people who passed through life without ever losing the friendships he made. I will miss his company and his always cheerful outlook on life.
