Help needed

So far, we have found 59 of the 89 entry members who joined up including 14 who have sadly died.

I have been in touch with a number of people from other entries who have given me some tips:

1. We can try to trace those drawing a pension through the RAF pension paymaster
2. We can try to trace others by using electoral roles and lots of phone calls
3. We can use this website

We have the following lists:

• Those now in contact (45)
• Those who have sadly died (14)
• Those missing that left before 1975
• Those missing that left after May 1975 who are likely to draw an RAF Pension
• Phil Marston has kindly agreed to take on the task of writing to those with a pension but I need help with the other two items. This involves gathering as much information as possible about each apprentice, and then searching the electoral role, Forces Reunited, The Air Force list, etc.

E.G. I happen to remember that Will Ovenden came from Margate. I could therefore ring anyone in Margate named Ovenden and hope to find a brother or cousin. Or, if I knew the town he went to when discharged, we might find him still there.

Please send me anything you can remember about anyone on the list. If you can help take on the tasking of tracing a few names please let me know. You help would be most welcome.
